Cheynese Douglas is a seasoned health care professional with over 16 years of experience in the health care industry and more than a decade of expertise in practice transformation. She holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA) and a Doctorate of Health Administration (DHA), bringing a strong academic foundation to her work in improving care delivery systems.
For the past 10 years, Douglas has led and supported practice transformation initiatives across Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. She collaborates with healthcare leaders and teams at every level — including CEOs, physicians, physician assistants, and frontline staff — to optimize workflows, enhance quality outcomes, and drive success in value-based care models. Her strategic, hands-on approach has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor in delivering sustainable, patient-centered improvements.
Prior to her work with the CMA PSO, Douglas served as a Senior Manager and consultant with a variety of health care organizations, where she provided leadership in operational improvement, performance optimization, and change management, and she also has previous clinical experience as a physician assistant.
