Resolutions

The California Medical Association (CMA) is proud of its resolutions process because it preserves the value of each members perspectives and experience and empowers physicians to shape the ever-changing health care landscape and ensure that CMA is speaking with its members’ voice in its advocacy.

 
From internal procedures to ambitious statewide legislation, every policy is crafted, reviewed and approved by the dedicated team of physician leaders that make up CMA's organizational structure - and you can help!
 
 
  • Resolutions and reports are posted quarterly for member testimony. Check back often to weigh in on policy proposals submitted by your peers. We look forward to the discussion. To comment, simply click on any of the open resolutions or reports listed below to leave your feedback.
  • Members are encouraged to submit a resolution for consideration by the Association.
  • After a testimony period, resolutions are reviewed formally by the standing Councils and Subcommittees
  • After resolutions are presented to the Board of Trustees for consideration to be adopted as official CMA policy throughout the year.
