The California Medical Association (CMA) will host its 2013 Legislative Leadership Conference on April 16 in Sacramento.

Members have the unique opportunity to join more than 400 physicians, medical students and CMA Alliance members who come to Sacramento to lobby their legislative leaders as champions for medicine and their patients.

While the agenda is still being developed, it will include a legislative and policy overview from CMA Vice President of Government Relations Juan Torres and a bipartisan legislative panel to discuss the state budget. Attendees will then have afternoon appointments to meet with their elected representatives. The meetings will be scheduled and coordinated by local county medical societies.
