Did you know that the Medical Board of California is one of the top five users of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Continuing Medical Education (CME) Passport system to check physician credit hours? Physicians whose organizations report learner credit hours into ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) benefit from streamlined license renewal. Instead of submitting additional paperwork, these physicians can rely on the medical board to directly access CME Passport and verify their completed CME requirements.
To ensure simple renewals for your physician learners, report all of their CME credit hours into PARS. The California Medical Association (CMA) has created helpful resources to get you started. Check out these resources:
