California Medical Association (CMA) members are invited to a virtual leadership development session hosted by past CMA president Ted Mazer, M.D. on June 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Suggested attendees include members of the CMA and component medical society boards, members of councils and committees, delegation chairs and vice-chairs and anyone else who plans to do so in the near future.

Participants in the session — Choosing to Lead - (What now?) — will discuss different forms of leadership, key skills for leaders within CMA and the importance of mentorship.

The interactive session will also allow CMA members to connect with others to discuss what kinds of skills, knowledge or support they need to be effective – and to help ensure that CMA can be a partner on your leadership journey.
