Learn how to be a climate change advocate at the 6th Annual Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health

The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health will host its 6th annual meeting in-person and virtually on March 19-20, with the option for in-person Congressional visits on March 21. The theme for this year is Seize the Moment for Climate Action: Building the Climate Health Movement.

The meeting, which attendees can join via Zoom or in-person at the George Mason University campus in Arlington, VA, will bring together leaders and staff of medical societies and health advocates. The event aims to empower and prepare medical professionals to advocate on the local, state and federal levels to ensure that monies from the Inflation Reduction Act are spent effectively on climate, health and equity.

Attendees will have opportunities to participate in the following:

  • In-person and virtual session on climate policy, medical education, and advocacy skills
  • Networking for both in-person and virtual participants
  • Congressional visits for in-person attendees only on March 21

Physicians can also earn up to 7.5  AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits.
