CMA partners with IHA to support encounter data quality improvement efforts

November 18, 2022

The Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) has launched the Encounter Data Resource Hub to help physician practices, community health centers and other stakeholders improve encounter data quality. The California Medical Association (CMA) Physician Services Organization (PSO) is proud to partner with IHA on a number of these encounter data resources.

Visit the hub to download the following:

  • Printable info sheets to onboard physician practice staff on the value of encounter data and how it relates to the roles across the practice
  • A Quick Reference Guide outlining available encounter data submission resources, requirements, and contacts from the major Medi-Cal health plans
  • An introductory presentation to help staff members understand encounter data at large

More resources, including a template that physician practices can use to document important encounter data policies and procedures, are coming soon!
