The California Department of Public Health Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Initiative is hosting a free, two-part webinar series on naloxone on March 26 and 30, 2018.

The first webinar,“Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution (OEND),” is March 26 at 2 p.m. This webinar is for any staff who will be responsible for educating laypersons about opioid overdose and distributing naloxone in their community.

The second webinar, “Implementing Naloxone Distribution Systems,” is March 30 at 10 a.m. It is for program managers and others responsible for the implementation of naloxone distribution systems/OEND in any capacity in their community.

Both webinars will be presented by Eliza Wheeler, with the Harm Reduction Coalition.

All are welcome to attend one or both webinars. The registration deadline for both webinars is March 23, 2018.
