AMA to host virtual brainstorming discussion to exchange ideas on the future of health care

The American Medical Association (AMA) next week will be co-hosting a virtual brainstorming discussion – the Innovation HealthJam – that will give participants the opportunity to collaborate with key health care opinion leaders to help chart the future of medicine.

The event, June 17–19, will bring together people from all aspects of the health care eco-system and will give participants the opportunity to collaborate for the greater good with key health care opinion leaders to brainstorm ideas and transform health care.

The topics covered in AMA’s Innovation HealthJam include:

  • Shaping the physician of the future
  • Innovating the care experience
  • Forging clinical-community linkages to prevent chronic disease

Additional topics that will be explored by other co-sponsors such as Intel, Panasonic and HIMSS include: telehealth, remote patient monitoring, personalized care and wearable sensors.

Anyone can join this free, online discussion, and can participate at any time during the three day event.
