Anthem Blue Cross has disconnected its California Contract Support/Network Relations phone line, (855) 238-0095, effective January 1, 2016. Providers calling the phone line are now greeted with an outgoing message stating that voicemail messages are not being accepted at this number and redirecting providers to other options to get their questions answered.
For practices seeking to request an application to the Blue Cross network or for questions pertaining to the status of a submitted application, practices should now email their inquiry to CAPhysicianApp@anthem.com.
For all other contracting inquires, or to obtain a listing of all Anthem provider contacts, please email CAContractSupport@anthem.com.
Practices that are experiencing difficulties with a response from either email address are encouraged to contact the California Medical Association at (888) 401-5911 or email@example.com.
