ACCME leader to keynote annual CME provider conference in April

Graham McMahon, M.D., president and CEO of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), will be the keynote speaker at the 2016 CME Provider Annual Conference sponsored by the California Medical Association’s Institute for Medical Quality (IMQ). The conference will take place April 29, 2016, at the Westin San Francisco Airport Hotel in Millbrae.

Dr. McMahon will speak about CME program promotion and new directions and national trends in CME, including commendation and CME that counts for maintenance of certification (MOC). 

Conference breakout sessions will focus on:  

  • Tips for compliance with challenging standards
  • CME that counts toward American Board of Internal Medicine MOC
  • Best practices for planning and evaluating your CME activities
