CMA urges Congress to focus on immediate patient needs and protecting the Affordable Care Act

July 24, 2023

In late June, the California Medical Association (CMA) held its first in-person Accreditation Workshop and Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Provider Conference since the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a success! We are in the process of contracting for the 2024 conferences now to allow ample time for planning. Watch for a save the date in early fall.

One attendee noted, “Attending the California Medical Association conferences was extremely helpful. Being new in the field of CME, I walked away confident and excited to share a few key takeaways with the team. What I liked the most was how engaging the lessons were and how interactive the speakers were. They made every topic fun, and often I would catch myself laughing at something that was being said. The environment was extremely welcoming; I wasn’t afraid to share my thoughts during the tabletop exercises. I loved the networking opportunities and connecting with fellow CME professionals and industry leaders. I’m honestly excited to be able to attend future conferences and witness the growth of CMA’s conference now that we are back in person.”

Another attendee said, “It truly was an excellent conference. Having been in CME for many years, I still walked away with valuable information and was inspired with new ideas to enhance the work I do every day.”
