On Tuesday, October 17, the American Lung Association will be hosting a Health Professionals for Clean Air meeting in Fresno, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Physicians, nurses and other health professionals are invited to learn about key programs and opportunities to advance healthy community planning and zero emission transportation in the Central Valley.
Speakers include:
Fresno Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula, M.D.Alex Sherriffs, M.D., San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, California Air Resources Board Ken Bird, M.D., Health Officer, Fresno County Health Department During this meeting, hosts Dr. Sherrifs and Dr. Bird will highlight key ways to reduce air pollution and improve lung health for your patients and communities. Lunch will be provided for those who attend, and call-in access is available.
