The California Medical Association (CMA) is recruiting continuing medical education (CME) surveyors to play a critical role in the accreditation process. In return for your donation of time and expertise, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from colleagues in CME and gain a broader understanding of the CME environment, as well as contribute to continuous improvement in the accreditation system.

Surveyors can be physicians or non-physician CME staff, and all will serve as a link between CMA and its accredited providers during the accreditation interview process.

Surveyors are expected to achieve and maintain a set of surveyor competencies. Surveyors are requested to prepare for and complete 90-minute interviews. They will be provided with training, professional development and support, including face-to-face training, conference calls and webinars.
