CMA CME Program: Administrative Updates

As California’s largest continuing medical education (CME) accreditor, the California Medical Association (CMA) is dedicated to supporting excellence, leadership and best practices to all CME providers.

CMA resumed the direct management of the CME program in May 2019 and promptly moved operations to Sacramento and updated branding and resources. CMA CME has also closely aligned with ACCME’s requirements, standards, policies and reaccreditation processes.

Please update your records accordingly:

CMA staff are available to answer any questions regarding the accreditation process and rules – we look forward to our continued work to ensure California remains a national leader in CME accreditation.
