The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) will soon be direct-billing California Medical Association (CMA)-accredited providers for the 2025 ACCME Annual Accreditation Fee. ACCME will send an invoice to your organization by November 1, 2024, with payment due to ACCME by January 31, 2025.
To ensure the billing process goes smoothly, make sure to confirm you have designated at least the following types of contacts in ACCME's Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS).
- Primary contact
- Billing contact
- CEO contact*
* They will only contact the CEO contact if unable to reach the billing and primary contacts with questions related to payment.
The system is designed for self-management. It is best practice to have the primary, as well as individual users, update their own information by going to Edit My Profile or via the Profile tab on their PARS dashboard. It is the responsibility of the continuing medical education (CME) provider to update PARS with members of the CME program; For more information on how to add or update a contact, click here. CMA CME staff will only discuss your CME program with contacts listed in PARS.
Please note that the ACCME Annual Accreditation Fee is a separate fee from the CMA Annual Accreditation or Reaccreditation fees.
Reach out to cme@cmadocs.org if you have any questions.
