Join us on June 11, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. for the next installment of the California Medical Association’s Virtual Grand Rounds – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in California - A New Landscape – to learn about an unprecedented new initiative California has launched to combat the pediatric behavioral health crisis.
In January 2024, the state made two new virtual tools available for free to any California resident ages 25 and younger: BrightLife Kids (for parents/caregivers and young children up to age 12) and Soluna (for teens and young people ages 13 to 25). In this Virtual Grand Rounds, we will hear from California Department of Public Health representatives about how these tools can play a vital role in improving the youth mental health crisis in California.
Featured speakers include:
- Sohil Sud, M.D., Pediatrician and Director of the Health and Human Services Agency’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative,
- Jennifer La Guardia, Ph.D., Vice President of Care Innovation, Brightline, Inc
- Laura Tully, Ph.D., Vice President of Clinical Integrations and Partnerships, Kooth; Associate Adjunct Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, UC Davis
The free one-hour webinar is open to all interested parties.
Virtual Grand Rounds: Emerging Public Health Issues is a free and monthly series providing the latest patient management news and resources.
