On September 29, 2023, the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES) web application will transition to a new account management vendor.

Because most of the changes changes will be internal to the system, the impact on users should be minimal. However, users will encounter some new login and account recovery screens associated with this update. The url will not change, and the system login and account recovery processes will remain the same.

Users who encounter any problems during the login or account recovery process can contact the CURES Program at cures@doj.ca.gov or (916) 210-3187.
