The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is hosting a webinar on August 30, 2023, from 3 to 4 p.m. to launch the Equity and Practice Transformation (EPT) Provider Directed Payments program.

The rollout webinar will cover multiple aspects of the program, such as which practices can apply, how to apply, what practices are committing to by participating, and what managed care plans’ role will be in the program. Interested parties can register to attend the webinar here. The application and guidelines will be posted to the EPT website soon.

The EPT Provider Directed Payments program is part of the Equity and Practice Transformation (EPT) Payments Program, which will invest in up-stream care models and partnerships to address health and wellness and funding practice transformation.

DHCS also recently published guidance for Medi-Cal managed care plans and provider groups interested in the program.
