COVID-19 Medi-Cal provider enrollment flexibilities to end March 29

Effective March 29, 2023, the California Department of Managed Health Care is winding down the provider enrollment flexibilities authorized under State of Emergency, which ended on February 28, 2028. Medi-Cal providers who were temporarily and provisionally enrolled as Medi-Cal providers who wish to remain enrolled after March 29 must submit a complete application for their provider type and meet all program requirements.

Providers will have 90 days from the end of the waiver period to submit an application for enrollment via the Provider Application and Validation for Enrollment (PAVE) portal. Providers who have not submitted an application by June  27, will have their temporary enrollment deactivated effective June 28, 2023.
