Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC) recently announced almost $25,000 in MedStudentsServe awards across the state to support medical student projects to enhance the health and well-being of California’s communities.

Medical student organizations and groups received money to support free clinics, innovative public health outreach to the underserved and pioneering apps to enable better access to community services.

The funds are a part of a program administered by PHC, and funded through endowment and restricted fund, which aims to develop the next generation of California’s physician leaders.
