The California Medical Association (CMA) is currently seeking physician members to serve a two-year term (2023-2025) on the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee. CMA's committees and councils provide key input to the Board of Trustees to guide the association as it sets new policies.
The deadline to submit an application or nomination is Monday, March 6, 2023.
The ideal candidates will have experience and/or knowledge on diversity and inclusion policies, strategies, practices, programs or research. In addition, there is an expectation that committee members will prepare for each meeting by reading assigned reading material, participate in all committee discussions (including e-mail discussions), and actively engage in committee activities.
