2023 ACCME annual accreditation fee deadline is Jan. 31

January 18, 2023

California Medical Association (CMA) accredited providers should have received an invoice directly from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) for your 2023 State Accredited Providers Fee. ACCME sent out invoices to each accredited provider the first week of November 2022, with payment due January 31, 2023. If you have not received your invoice, please contact info@accme.org so it can be reissued.

ACCME uses a tiered fee structure for annual accreditation fees to reflect programs of varied sizes. Program size is based on the average number of activities or learners, whichever is greater, over the past three years. The fee is based on data you reported for the 2019-2021 reporting years in Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) data. Your tier is calculated by the highest of average activities per year or average learner interactions per year, from 2019-2021. Note that your invoicing tier does not reflect your program size when determining organization size for Accreditation with Commendation.

This is a separate fee from CMA’s Annual Accreditation Fee, which will be billed in May 2023.

CMA will continue to work with ACCME to ensure accredited providers comply with fee requirements.
