March 08, 2022

The American Medical Association (AMA) has partnered with HealthBegins to create the latest AMA STEPS ForwardTM toolkit, “Racial and Health Equity: Concrete STEPS for Health Systems” and will be hosting a webinar on March 24, 2022, to discuss its application.

The free webinar will take place on March 24 at 10 AM PST (12 PM CST), and attendees will hear from the co-authors of the toolkit, Denard Cummings, AMA Director of Equitable Health Systems Integration, and Rishi Manchanda, M.D., MPH, President and CEO of HealthBegins, as they provide actionable steps for advancing racial and health equity in your health care system.

The toolkit offers five steps to advancing health equity for clinicians, patients, and the communities served. The toolkit helps motivated leaders develop a shared understanding and commitment, set data-driven goals, and embark on a journey of continuous learning and improvement for racial justice and health equity.

Register for the webinar and learn more about other STEPS Forward tools on the AMA’s STEPS Forward website.
