CMA publishes guide to help physicians prepare for Covered California changes in 2022

In 2021, Covered California, California's health benefit exchange saw an increase in statewide enrollment of approximately 4.6% from 2020. There are now approximately 1.6 million individuals enrolled in qualified health plans, which represents the highest enrollment ever for Covered California. To help physician practices understand their participation status, which products are being offered and what changes to expect, the California Medical Association has published a new tip sheet, “Surviving Covered California: Preparing for changes in 2022.” The tip sheet is available free to members.
