COVID-19 is a new disease and the understanding of its pathophysiology and treatment continues to evolve. The California Medical Association (CMA) has partnered with Rockpointe—a leading provider of continuing medical education (CME)—to provide free webinars for physicians and other health care providers who are treating patients are at increased risk for more severe COVID-19 disease.

The webinars will provide clinical information to appropriately advise patients how to avoid infection, monitor patients who develop COVID-19, and recognize and manage complications as they occur to minimize morbidity and mortality.

These CME activities also enable the participant to earn up to 1.0 Medical Knowledge MOC point in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.

There is no fee for these activities, which are supported by educational grants from Novo Nordisk, Inc, and Daiichi Sankyo.
