Continuing medical education (CME) surveyors can be non-physician CME staff or physicians who serve as a link between the California Medical Association (CMA) and its accredited providers during the accreditation interview process. The surveyor is an advocate for providers, whose role is to gather additional information and clarify evidence that demonstrates compliance with accreditation requirements.
CMA is recruiting CME surveyors willing to donate time and expertise in exchange for the opportunity to learn from colleagues, gain more knowledge and further improve the accreditation system.
Surveyors are expected to achieve and maintain a set of competencies, and they are requested to prepare for and complete 90-minute interviews. Interested parties will be provided with training, professional development and support, including face-to-face training, conference calls and webinars.
To nominate, please complete our survey, or contact cme@cmadocs.org.
