Area(s) of Interest: Advocacy

California medical students! Are you disappointed that the annual California Medical Association (CMA) Legislative Advocacy Day was canceled? Fret not. The CMA Medical Student Section is hosting a virtual advocacy day on Friday, June 5, 2020. Medical students will have a chance  to educate their legislative leaders as champions for patients and the practice of medicine.

In the week leading up the advocacy day, there will be virtual education sessions to fortify your knowledge about important topics in preparation to meet with representatives. CMA’s Chief Lobbyist and CMA Senior Vice President Janus Norman will give the keynote speech.

The deadline to register is Friday, May 29, 2020.
