As medical practices across the country work quickly to implement new telehealth processes, the American Medical Association is offering a new virtual panel discussion to allow medical workers and technology companies to share best practices and policy updates to support physicians in expediting telemedicine implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The discussion is hosted by the AMA’s Physician Innovation Network (PIN), an online networking community of physicians, digital health companies and entrepreneurs. Physicians can post questions and connect with experts about proven strategies for developing telemedicine services.
The California Medical Association has also compiled a running list of telehealth resources and frequently asked questions to help physicians in the transition to telehealth amid the COVID-19 outbreak. For more information, see cmadocs.org/covid-19.
