The Fresno-Madera Medical Society (FMMS) is hosting the 69th Annual Yosemite Post Graduate Institute, February 28-March 1, 2020, in Yosemite. Participants can earn 17 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

As the first contact by a patient, the primary care physician’s practice incorporates management of a variety of acute and chronic illnesses and complex, multi-system diseases, as well as preventive care. This conference, designed by primary care physicians for primary care physicians, will educate and enhance physician knowledge, competence and performance in a broad range of therapeutic areas commonly encountered in the primary care practice. Participants will be given opportunities for interaction with course faculty, who have been selected by the conference planning committee for their expertise, knowledge and clinical acumen.

The conference—which focuses on medical emergencies for the primary care provider—takes place at the Yosemite Lodge in the heart of Yosemite Valley. Enjoy breathtaking views of Yosemite Falls from your breakfast table, spend time hiking the trails, photographing the iconic landscapes or just enjoying the beauty of this majestic national park with family, colleagues or new acquaintances and head home with 17.0 CME and a wealth of new knowledge.

Special events include an Ansel Adams fine print viewing with wine and hors d’oeuvres on Friday evening, a “camera walk” with Joseph Hawkins, M.D., on Saturday afternoon and dinner with special presentation work/life balance on Saturday evening (additional charge).
