The Coalition for Compassionate Care of California (CCCC) is offering a one-day training on March 16 in Sacramento: “Let’s Talk: Promoting and Engaging in Advance Care Planning.” This training, available to CCCC members for $199 and $249 to nonmembers, will take place at the Non-Profit Innovation Center in Sacramento from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This training is for physicians who wish to engage their patients or communities in advance care planning. Attendees will learn how to best start and navigate the advance planning conversation, understand the details of advance directives and other related forms, and understand techniques to support advance care planning activities beyond an individual physician’s practice.

CCCC will provide a binder with the day’s curriculum, light breakfast and full lunch. Six continuing education units are available for this training. Previous trainings have sold out quickly, so act now to reserve your spot.
