The American Medical Association (AMA) has released new online resources for physicians navigating new value-based care models. AMA's new practicing value-based care educational module is part of the association's STEPS Forward™ series of physician-developed practice improvement strategies.

Launched by AMA in June 2015, STEPS Forward now includes 35 free interactive educational modules aimed at helping physicians redesign their medical practices to minimize stress and reignite professional fulfillment in their work. The STEPS Forward collection also includes resources to help physicians prepare to implement new payment models, including steps toward advancing team-based care, implementing electronic health records and improving care.

Continuing medical education credit can be earned from each module.
