As part of its policy-making process, the California Medical Association (CMA) allows members to submit resolutions for debate and discussion throughout the year. These resolutions will be considered by the standing Councils and Subcommittees, and will be presented to the Board of Trustees for consideration to be adopted as policy for the association.
The following resolutions have been posted online for consideration in the third quarter of 2018. They are posted at https://www.cmadocs.org/hod and will be available for testimony until June 11, 2018. After testimony closes, the resolutions and all the testimony will be forwarded to the appropriate CMA council or subcommittee for consideration.
Your testimony and feedback will be considered by the Councils as they make policy recommendations. Please take a moment to read any background materials and/or analyses, which can be found in the upper right corner of each resolution page.
Resolutions to be considered in Q3 include:
If you are interested in submitting a resolution for consideration in the fourth quarter of 2018, the submission deadline is July 10, 2018. Please read the guidelines before submitting a resolution. Resolutions that do not follow the guidelines will be rejected.
