California Medical Association (CMA) Chief of Staff Janice Rocco has published CMA’s annual Legislative Wrap-Up—Back to (Almost) Normal—which provides an insider's take on what went down this legislative session.

Although the State Capitol again open to the public, there continues to be less access to legislators and their staff than there had been prior to the pandemic. These changes mean that we have adjusted and found new ways that we communicate with legislators and their staff.

The accomplishments, achievements and acclaim of this year again showcased CMA’s ability to advocate for the physicians and patients of California.
