The new and improved Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) will launch on November 16, 2021. To implement the transition, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) has scheduled PARS downtime from Thursday, November 11, at 3 p.m., P.T., until Tuesday, November 16, at 7 a.m., P.T.
During this time:
- You will not be able to use the activity or learner reporting functions in PARS via any of the reporting methods (web interface, batch upload or web services).
- If your organization is currently using web services to report data automatically to PARS, we recommend placing the programmatic communications on hold for the duration of the PARS outage. Otherwise, you will need to repeat communications you send to the PARS Application Programming Interface after PARS is back online.
- You will still be able to log in and access the accreditation management system.
Beginning November 16, at 7 a.m., P.T., you will have access to the new, improved PARS! Read more about the new features and enhancements. Watch your inbox for the launch announcement. The ACCME will provide complete details and resources about using the new PARS.
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue entering your activity and learner data. Your data will be migrated to the new PARS—you will not need to re-enter any data.
