New standards for cultural and linguistic competency (CLC) and implicit bias (IB) are in the works! Be on the lookout for the draft standards to be available for public comment in late spring for your review and input. The California Medical Association’s continuing medical education (CME) advisory council has been meeting since October 2020 and is reviewing current standards and definitions, and national and best practices. The advisory council is composed of leaders in CME, as well as community leaders in the health equity space. Reach out with any comments and suggestions!
