Continuing Medical Education (CME)
The California Medical Association (CMA) is recruiting continuing medical education (CME) surveyors to donate their time and expertise in exchange for the opportunity to learn from colleagues, gain knowledge and further improve the accreditation system. To nominate a colleague, CME Committee member or yourself, please complete our survey and/or contact cme@cmadocs.org.
A surveyor is an advocate for providers who gathers additional information and clarifies evidence demonstrating required compliance. CME surveyors can be non-physician CME staff or physicians who serve as a link between CMA and its accredited providers during the interview process.
Surveyors are expected to achieve and maintain a set of competencies and complete 90-minute interviews. Interested parties will receive training, professional development and support, including face-to-face training, conference calls and webinars.
