The California Medical Association (CMA) recently hosted a webinar examining the supplemental Medi-Cal payments made possible by the Proposition 56 tobacco tax funding – including how to ensure you’re getting your fair share.

The one-hour webinar — Proposition 56 funds: What’s new for FY 19-20 and beyond — is now available for on-demand viewing.

The webinar includes discussion on the services eligible for FY 19-20 supplemental payments, payment amounts, tips on ensuring your practice receives the full amount of eligible funds and the distribution timelines. This presentation also discusses the new funding for the value-based payment program and developmental and trauma screenings.

More information on Prop 56 can be found on the DHCS website.

Physicians with questions can contact CMA’s Reimbursement Helpline at (888) 401-5911 or economicservices@cmadocs.org.
