The California Medical Association's Institute for Medical Quality (IMQ) announced last week that Graham McMahon, M.D., the new president and CEO of the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), will be the keynote speaker at its 2015 CME Provider Annual Conference. The event will be held May 1 at the Westin Long Beach Hotel.
As one of Dr. McMahon’s first presentations in his new role, the keynote will give attending CME providers an opportunity to learn his views on the direction of CME and to share their ideas about the role of accredited CME in fostering life-long learning for physicians.
Breakout sessions at the annual conference will focus on new formats that CME providers can use to engage physicians; ways to improve evaluation and analysis of CME activities and the CME program; and tips for compliance with challenging criteria and policies.
