Area(s) of Interest: Physician Leadership Professional Development & Education

When a person is living with a serious illness, it is easy to forget about other factors that influence quality of life, including sexuality and intimacy. The Coalition for Compassionate Care of California (CCCC) is hosting a webinar addressing this issue, “Sex, Drugs and Palliative Care: Addressing Intimacy Issues of Serious Illness,” on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 12 to 1 p.m.

Presented by Shirley Otis-Green, CCCC Clinical Director of Consulting Services, this webinar will discuss issues related to sexuality for people living with serious illness, those who are aging or those nearing the end of life. Webinar attendees improve their assessment skills to assist in appropriate referrals regarding sexuality concerns and increase their knowledge of interventions that may be provided.

This webinar costs $49 for CCCC members, but is $99 for nonmembers. For more information or to register, click here.
