With 17 statewide initiatives, the November 2016 ballot includes the largest number of measures since 2000, when 20 measures qualified. Official state voter guides have started landing in mailboxes, and at 224 pages, the volume weighs in at 10.3 ounces. Among the initiatives are a handful that could have a significant impact on patient access to care and the state of health care in California.
In an effort to help members understand the health care related ballot initiatives, the California Medical Association (CMA) is holding a webinar, "2016 Ballot Measures: How Your Vote Can Increase Access to Care," on Wednesday, September 28, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
This webinar is free to members and their staff. If you are unable to attend the live event, it will be available for on-demand playback in our online resource library.
