Deep Dive
CME Accreditation Workshop
June 22, 2023  |  9:00am - 5:00pm

The accreditation workshop will take a deep dive into the Plan-Do-Study-Act Cycle as it relates to the Accreditation Criteria and Standards. This interactive course is essential for new CME staff and will have valuable insights for experienced CME staff as well. Collaborate with other CME professionals and share experiences and ideas. 

As a result of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Incorporate best practices in the planning, conduct and evaluation of CME activities.
  • Implement one improvement in planning CME activities.
  • Assess compliance with the Standards for Integrity and Independence.
  • Apply new knowledge to use the toolkit to identify, mitigate, and disclose relevant financial relationships.

The California Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
The California Medical Association (CMA) designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
