Anthony York is the Vice President of Strategic Communications overseeing public affairs, marketing, publications, graphic design, public relations, social media, messaging, website, mobile app and video production.
Prior to joining CMA, he was a communications consultant, the founder of the Grizzly Bear Project, political reporter for the Los Angeles Times, editor of Capitol Weekly, associate editor of the California Journal and Salon.com, where he also served as the website’s Washington, D.C. correspondent.

The Center for Strategic Communications crafts and delivers the organization’s mission to members, health care stakeholders, media and the general public. The Center provides an internal and external resource through public affairs, media outreach, social media, video production and the development of marketing campaigns, newsletters, publications and webinars to effectively communicate the organization’s policy positions and strategic objectives.
