Major issues for CMA’s 2023 House of Delegates accepting comments through July 17

The 152nd Annual Session of the California Medical Association (CMA) House of Delegates (HOD) will tackle three major issues when it convenes October 21-22, 2023, in Los Angeles.

CMA physician delegates meet annually to establish broad policy on current major issues that have been determined to be the most important issues affecting members, the association and the practice of medicine. This year’s major issues are:

  • Consumer Health Technology/Artificial Intelligence
  • Office of Health Care Affordability
  • Climate Change

These major issues topics are accepting comments through Monday, July 17. The testimony offered will help guide the CMA councils in the development of their reports that will be discussed at the House of Delegates in October.
