TITLE: Group Membership Account Manager

EXEMPTION STATUS: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$85,000
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Group Membership Account Coordinator is the front-line interaction point between CMA and California’s physicians, executive administrators, and medical staff. This role focuses on the group membership experience, from initial outreach and onboarding of executive staff to ongoing engagement and management of the account. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong ability to build relationships at the executive level, and experience translating internal cross-departmental work product into concise, contextual, customer communications and interactions.
As the primary point of contact for group membership accounts, you will engage with executive level stake holders within some of the largest medical groups in California, conducting annual reviews and processing contract renewals and invoices. You will log engagement touchpoints within the CRM and ensure data quality with assigned accounts, contacts, and roles. You will have persistence, confidence, and a strong ability, proactively to engage with executives within the health care industry.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts in mid to large-sized medical groups in California.

Develop and implement account plans that align with different stake holders’ needs within an account.

Collaborate with internal teams bi-directionally to connect accounts with solutions internally and identify opportunities to broadly educate and influence all account stakeholders.

Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution.

Organize and log activity through Salesforce CRM for reporting and KPI accountability.

Coordinate with member services and other business partners to effectively implement new members or accounts and maintain ongoing relationships.

Work closely with executives and physicians to understand their business goals and develop strategies to support them.

Stay up to date on industry trends and developments in the California health care landscape as well as the policy CMA works to influence.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field

5+ years of experience in account management, preferably in the health care industry

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with executives, physicians and professional stakeholders

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software, preferably Salesforce

Strong organizational and time-management skills demonstrated by ability to meet activity targets and perform account management processes that produce predictable results.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address member needs.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement account plans that align with organizational objectives and member needs
EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
Position requires operation of normal office equipment, computer, printers, photocopier, fax machines, multi-line phone, mobile communications tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional travel required.
