The Medi-Cal Provider Enrollment Division (PED) recently announced that it will no longer accept paper enrollment forms, effective March 5, 2019. Medi-Cal enrollment applications and forms will move entirely to the e-form application process through the California Department of Health Care Services’ (DHCS) Provider Application and Validation for Enrollment (PAVE) portal. With this deadline approaching, DHCS has scheduled an additional PAVE 101 training on Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 12-2 p.m to ensure users are prepared to begin using the online enrollment process.

PAVE 101 is an introductory training course that will cover common questions PED has received about PAVE. All users new to PAVE are encouraged to participate. However, all PAVE users are welcome.  There will be time during this training for providers to ask PAVE related questions.

Providers can register for the webinar on the DHCS PAVE website.  Please note, this will also register you for the weekly PAVE Q&A webinars. Attendance for the ongoing Q&A webinars is optional.

For more information about PAVE, see the DHCS PAVE FAQ.
