TITLE: Project Coordinator    


CENTER: Component Medical Society (CMS) Services    


REPORTS TO: Chris Leister, Senior Director, CMS Services    


The Project Coordinator is responsible for invoicing and payment processing for membership dues on behalf of the CMA and various Component Medical Societies (CMSs), database support and administration, and other database projects as needed. General responsibilities include invoice set-up, payment processing, dues posting, maintaining A/R and A/P, reconciliations, and reports. Strong interpersonal skills are required in order to provide great support and service to CMS staff. Experience with membership dues and Association Management Software (AMS) or other CRM/database is preferred; SQL report writing skills are a plus.


  • Responsible for all phases of membership dues processing for CMA and CMSs, such as invoice setup, payment processing, A/R, A/P, reconciliations, etc.
  • Verify accuracy of all facets of dues processing from entry to A/P and reporting
  • Investigate dues processing errors and discrepancies, making adjustments as needed
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with each of our Component Medical Societies, with an emphasis on dues processing, training, and support needs
  • Create and run various membership and statistical standard reports
  • Perform other related work and projects as assigned, such as website development/ integration, database integration, retention campaign support, database modules such as email blasts/ newsletters/ campaigns, and more


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years relevant experience in Accounting, A/R, A/P, AMS or CRM payment processing
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, with keen analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and effectively prioritize workload
  • AMS experience (specifically, Euclid ClearVantage AMS) or other CRM/database experience is preferred
  • SQL report writing skills/ data analysis is a plus


  • Normal office environment requirements with minimal travel
